Mr. Thomas L. Freese is Principal of Freese & Associates, Inc., a logistics & supply chain management consulting firm established in 1988. Mr. Freese has over 20 years of experience with a wide variety of practical knowledge in logistics.

Before establishing F&A, Tom was a Senior Management Consultant, specializing in logistics for an international consulting firm. Prior to that he was Director of Distribution for Brush Wellman, Inc. and Manager of Physical Distribution for Parker Hannifin Co., at UNOCAL Corporation he held numerous line and staff distribution positions.

His experience spans the product line spectrum from hydraulic components and bulk chemicals to fresh poultry. His projects encompass work with manufacturers, wholesalers, government, retailers and e-tailers and have been conducted throughout North America, Europe, the former eastern block and Asia.

Mr. Freese holds an MBA in Business Logistics from The Ohio State University and a BS in Business with a major in marketing from OSU as well.

Tom is an active member in the Association of Transportation Law, Logistics and Policy (ATLLP), Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), International Customer Service Association (ICSA), and Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC).

He is currently on the CLM Executive Committee as Education Strategies Committee Chair; he is a member of the North Eastern Ohio WERCouncil board and a member of the 2003 WERC conference committee.

Tom is on the editorial review board of the International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management. He is a frequent guest lecturer, speaker and contributor to numerous journals and trade publications. He is a well recognized expert in supply chain management and outsourcing and frequently speaker at conferences, seminars, and association meetings.
