Identify, develop and implement the worldwide procurement strategy for the Resins and Paper Divisions in concert with their strategic and tactical business objectives. Maximize the Purchasing organizational efficiency and ensure the strategic and competitively priced supply of essential materials to the plants. Worldwide material purchases of $400 million, $3.2 million budget, 25 people, four direct reports.

• Global Purchasing cost improvement initiatives of $30 million since Hercules implementation of the year-after-year 5% goal.Leader of the Purchasing Steering Team that sets the vision and strategic approach for the worldwide essential materials. Leader of the regional cross-functional teams that review and implement the Purchasing accountabilities.
• Established the sale of Hercules Bi products (HCL and Phosphorus Acid) resulting in a cost savings of 4 million USD annually.
• Product Stewardship leader for Purchasing and Operations for the Paper Division.
• Purchase the Toll and Alliance products for the Paper Division leading to cost savings on new product developments of $2 million for promoter resins.
• Principle member of the team that set up the Hercules Alliance with Champion Corporation for CST/CTO feed resulting in the ability to sustain the natural resins business.
